Technical Tours

Registration

Preregistration is required for all tours so that proper arrangements for transportation may be made, and minimum and maximum capacities are maintained. Registration for all tours is available as part of the general conference registration process.

Transportation

Transportation to all tours is provided.

Refunds and Substitutions

Due to the tour capacity limits this year, no refunds will be made for cancellations after June 15, 2012, or for no-shows. Tour participant substitutions are not permitted because of the security requirements at each tour location.

Identification

Conference badges must be worn during all tours. Participants should also carry a picture ID issued by a government or university entity (e.g., driver’s license, passport, State/Federal employee card, student ID). Please check the details of each tour for more information.

Restrictions

Some tours are restricted to U.S. citizens. Cameras, video or voice recorders, and cell phones are prohibited on some tours and will be noted under the specific tour details. Many tours will require quite a bit of walking and standing. Please check the details of each tour for more information.
